I decided to create this website to keep Michael alive in a number of ways.  To those unaware, Michael had been diagnosed with Stage 4 Large B Cell Lymphoma in May of 2021. We had been traveling back and forth from Wisconsin to NYC every month to see his doctor, do testing, and get his chemo treatments. I must admit that through all of this, the real hero had truly been him. He did not shed one tear, never gave up, or gave in to the pain or fear. Rarely did I see him stuck in total sadness. A typical lymphoma patient goes through a total of 6 R-CHOP treatments that include immunotherapy. After treatment #5, Michael started having some bigger side effects outside of those that are normal for chemo. He was unable to stay properly hydrated, eat regularly, and was in continual pain. He could not sleep properly and then had some issues with breathing. After four ER visits (which included two overnight stays), we discovered fluid was on his lungs and stomach. A CT scan revealed that he also had stomach cancer. At this time, we were about to head back to NYC for chemo, but he was not well enough to go. Hence, we stayed in Wisconsin so as to get him stronger and healthier. After three days of my asking, he finally consented to return to the hospital. I called an ambulance to fetch him, as I was ill myself. Upon arrival, Michael went unconscious while in the bathroom. He had suffered a heart attack, and his heart stopped here at home for 15 minutes.  He was taken to the closest hospital and put in isolation in their ICU unit. This was on November 20, 2021. While he was there, he was put on constant dialysis because his kidneys shut down. He was on a breathing machine, and had a feeding tube put in. They found a blood clot in his leg and also discoloration on his hands and feet from circulation issues. He had two infections in his lungs, and had fluid tapped from his stomach and lungs every few days. On December 1, 2021, they called to inform me that his blood pressure was in the 70’s, and that there were no other medical options available to treat this issue. On December 2, 2021, his heart stopped beating for the last time. On that same day, I hugged, held and kissed him goodbye for the last time. He has taken almost all of me with him.

My mission now is to make sure that his films are seen; that people learn of all the business ventures he was involved in, and that they NEVER forget that he existed and impacted the world. He deserved all this and more.
